Personally, Larry Brooks must have something seriously negative going on with him…to not let James Stewart ride in MX outdoors. It’s sad that James has no say…which Larry knows won’t last long:) The outdoors is where all the real fans are,…and since Yamaha pretty much only cares about sellin bikes,..if they were intelligent enough to do their homework and surveys, they would learn that they WANT James Stewart to race in the 2009 Outdoors MX!!!! I really want to see James, with his talent, style, and speed,..to tear it up racing in the 2009 outdoors!!! It’s in his phreekin blood!

Hey James. whats up? Dude, everyone misses watching you outdoors. Please at least come back to unadilla this year. im not sure if you like your new bike or not but its just not the same as the old stylish james everyone knows. i have pictures of you all over my wall when you were on your kawi. you looked so good on that bike, but anyways no matter what bike you ride or what gear you wear you will always be my favort rider.

Well folks you can stop begging… theres no way Stewart can sign on to MX and win the outdoor championship so theres no reason to spend the cash to show up at all… RV is out with a knee injury and now its up to Elessi and Grant to battle for the 1 plate, I say this because Reed had the wind sucked out of his sails already and will most likely come up with a practice injury to provide him with the BAIL excuse to leave the series .
James you need to come clean and admit you never intended to race MX in 2009! “contract muh arse”
You know what … u might be right ROTTIN1!! I think JS7 knew he wasn’t gonna be racing the mx cause there is no way he is gonna go 24 & 0 and not defend his title so I think he knew he wasn’t gonna be racing or else he would not have signed with L & M.

Several years ago the fans of Metallica put together a petition for them to stop using Bob Rock as their producer, because he was ruining Metallica, much like Larry Brooks is ruining James. I know James enjoys riding and winning as much as everyone that straps on a pair of boots, and kicks the bike over. However when your forced to sit out of a series you were born to race, is just sad.
James grew up outdoors and he should be allowed to ride what series he wants, not be told what races he’ll be riding, like a prison camp detainee.
McGrath raced SX exclusively, because he wanted to, not because he was told your only racing sx.
Carmicheal raced both SX and MX because he wanted to.
Reed at one time was only going to race SX, but when he learned that Bubba wasn’t racing outdoors, he showed up at Glen Helen; and like the announcing team for speed. They don’t think he would have shown up if it weren’t for him losing his title to Bubba, and Bubba being forced out of the outdoors this year.
If Bubba wants to race, then L&M should let their star racer race. Enough with this LET BUBBA RACE or let him go to another team where they will let him race.
Bubba I’m sorry, but you should have stayed with Kawasaki.
ya i totally agree with what you said in the first paragraph…about larry brooks…you know what sucks too, like why he went to yamaha…it was probably for money…like any pro athlete, no matter if they say it’s not about the money, it’s always about the money…catch my drift?
After I learned James was not racing outdoors and now with POTO out, I’m done. This is a big negative for the sport. I would say IMHO that atleast 50% of the people tune in to watch James. I don’t care for Chad Reed, but I want him there to see the possible battle that might brew between him and bubba or POTO.
Carmichael is the GOAT because he dominated both SX & MX not because he was not allowed to race outdoors. James was probably the only current rider that had a chance of beating some of the GOATS outdoor records.

I have lost all respect for James. Sitting out the Motocross season is a big mistake.
Jame Stewart I think you are amazing! You are huge for the sport and by not racing motocross to give you a longer career is crazy. Motocross made you who you are and now your team is robbing us as loyal fans the enjoyment of watching you race. Im very dissapointed.

Just finished listening to Larry on the podcast. I am both disappointed and disgusted that he will not allow you to race outdoors and defend YOUR title. I understand you are under contract, but i would tell them if you really want to race outdoors, then they need to let you.
You are so much more dangerous and faster outdoors and to stop you from cleaning house again is just disappointing.
James….Is it true that Larry is gonna let you race a few outdoor races?
