JS7 Ride Day
If you weren’t at Milestone MX Park in Riverside, CA today, you missed out! James showed his appreciation to all of his West Coast supporters by having an exclusive (and free) ride day so that fans could spend an entire day riding and hanging out with the 2009 AMA Supercross Champ, and it was off the hook! More than 1,000 fans packed into Milestone to support the first-ever JS7 ride day, and by the time James himself rolled up, the admission line stretched out of the entry gate well over a mile.
Of course, Stewart didn’t disappoint the masses; after giving away hundreds of free T-shirts, signing countless autographs, and generally just having a good time hanging out with his fans, James hit the track… On a two-stroke! In fact, James spent the entire day burning laps on a YZ250 instead of his normal YZ450F, which the fans were definitely appreciative of.
Check out this gallery to see some of the highlights of the day, and check back later in the week for a video.

To make a long story short on a video they showed, you invited service members to ride with you. ive only been riding for about 3 months and am doing ok. i own a rmz 450 and would like to ride with you if at all possible. thanks, Dennis Tredinnick email dtredinnick108@yahoo.com

BUBBA YOU ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK!!!!
Hey James you should keep the #7 with the red background on your bike instead of the #1, J + S = 7. I saw you busting loose in Salt Lake City, you ROCKED the house!! You owend the SX of 09. 11 out of 17 races just smells like domination to me.
Hi,
my name is Tadas, if from northern europe, Lithuania. I’m big JS fan. Love you’re ride, and those SCRUBS… I’m riding too, on Kx 125. I’m 16 years old.
I have a question, will you ride this weekend in World Motocross Championship in Latvia ? If yo will, i will come to see my hero.
Best regards, Tadas.
We all have been blessed to be able to witness your special gift. Both on and off the track. You are a very unique and talented athelete and person. You are a hero to some and someone the kids can look up to (even if they don’t ride). You are a rare breed. What you did for the fans was truly special. Most high profile people would not even think about that kind of function. So hats off again, you are a class act, so stay grounded as usual Champ.
From your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!!!!
THANKS 4 COMING OUT TO THE LOCAL TRACK 4 LOS ANGELES NATIVES. U PUTTING THIS RIDE ON SHOWS HOW GENUINE U ARE (REAL SHIT). I DIDN’T RIDE BUT TO BE ABLE TO SEE MY POTNAHS OUT THER WIT YOU WAS COOL ENOUGH(MAYBE NEXT GO AROUND). ALSO, ALL THE KIDS WILL NEVER 4GET THIS. I’VE BEEN SPRUNG ON MX 4 25 YEARS, & I DONT EVEN REMEBERING HEARING OFF A RIDER DOIN THIS TYPE OF RIDE. U A COOL DUDE.
James,
I’m not sure if you left Milestone before we did, but you may know because I was the guy that left in the ambulance. My daughter and I ride every weekend but this time I got bit, I broke my collarbone and got a nasty laceration to the left forearm. That was my first ambulance ride and I’m not looking forward to another any time soon. But, despite the accident, June 20, 2009 will go down as one of the best days we have ever spent riding at any track. Having had the chance to ride Milestone with you and see you come by will be something my daughter and I will remember and cherish forever. Thanks for the memories………. You truly are a class act!
I’m sorry to the rest for having shut down the track for 20 minutes or more.
Dan
Hey Dan that scar is definitely wourth it. Stay safe dude1
Dan, we were still there, hope you get well soon. try not to get withdrawls from being away from the track too long.
the best in the world forever!

It’s great that such a star took the time to spend with us fans, no other athlete in modren sports has given that to his fans. If I have had the means to hang, believe me I would of been there. Not meaning to pick on you James, but what is the real reason you are not racing the outdoors? Did I miss something?
Thanks for coming out to the track and signing my bike 259. Chase
This was a greatest day. The job you did was “FAN”tastic there was so many fan but I don’t think anyone left unhappy. Our family had a great time with all of our friends. Hope to see you on Pro-track Wednesdays at MILESTONE MX PARK .
Star age10

You rock.
Thanks for going to milestone. it was SO much fun to watch you ride. It was cool to see you riding on a 2 stroke. We did not bring our bikes there because we thought it would be too crowded to ride. I appreciate you going out and having a ride day.
Chelsea 215 (motorcross number)
Man i wish that was on the east cost, preferably Georgia. met you at ATL Sx but its not a personal as this, id love to see this around here and im sure alot of other would too. You Rip james.
Nice! you made a few new friends there yesterday,,, keep the momentum flowing!!
Yesterday was amazing! You must have been exhausted at the end of the day, but I know the fans really appreciated everything you did for them yesterday and it was clear by how many smiles I saw. I waited in line well over an hour to get in, and I would have waited for hours more to ride on the same track with one of my heros! Thanks again, and Ill be cheering you on at x games!
James,
Great day man! Riding along side the champ (even for a second) was awesome! We all appreciate it. You, Larry, Red Bull and everyone else involved did a great thing man. Keep it up.
J
James, your a class act!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nuff said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James, thanks for coming out to Milestone, I got my Pic with you and my #42 Numberplate signed. My husband and kids got me my first dirt bike for mothers day this year. So at age 42, I started to ride. I was riding my dughters little 70, but my Rudy says my fat A** would break it, so he got me a used HOnda CRF 100. I’m not the most athletic, but l love riding. I did’nt get to ride with you (I’m not that good) to even be on the track. but my son age 14 loves to ride at milestone. we live here in RIverside so we go a lot. you made a middle aged girl happy I hope we all continue to ride till we’re a hundred. I had fun watching you ride and watching all your fans have fun, they were all respectful, I talked to a lot people i didnt even know, and I’m usually shy. I showed everyone I met the picture on my camera of me & you. Thanks to redbull and their staff and Milestone and their staff and , I will send them a personal email to thank them also. I hope the other fans will too. a little thanks goes a long way.
Lisa.
James!! Very disappointed i couldn’t be there blood but i live in the U.K. Maybe 1 day you’ll do a ride day over here as believe you me you’re fan base is world wide, and rightly so. I’ve got a mixture of both black and white friends and they all love you. Which true mx fan wouldn’t? Even my kids who don’t ride no who you are and want to meet you. At first i was gutted with you not racing outdoors but since then have realize Larry has had you’re best interest at heart. Just look at what happened to both MA(800) & RV(2) getting injured. Not to say you run the risk of burning yourself out after a hard fought supercross season. Plus now you get a chance to give something back to your fans. Ask them on the ride day which one they would’ve preferred, you racing or getting a chance to meet and ride with you? Saw you’re sick scrubs on tranworld, man if only! You make it look so easy. And believe you look as good on a supermoto bike as you do on your mx bike. X games yes!! Keep up the good work and ignore the haters. After all there is only one JS1!!
James,
Just got back with my family from Milestone Ranch mx park in so-cal (Riverside), and we had a great time. We would like to thank you, Redbull, and everyone else involved in making this event possible. I can’t even describe how I felt watching you manhandle our protrack, unfortunately I wasn’t able to ride with him (due to Honda’s valve problem) like so many others, and that was the most heartbreatking part of it all. Thank you for inspiring the kids an especially my son, to always continue thriving to be better. We got some awesome pix, we were able to witness the famous Bubba scrub in person, and witnessed the craziest left hand stoppie/turn I have ever seen, hope someone got that pix! Thank you once again, for the time, the autographs and the countless times we were able to take pictures with you.
Danny (the fan who continues to rub your arm in the hopes of acquiring some of your skills!)
P.S. RESPECT THE CHAMP, KNOW THAT GREATNESS ALSO NEEDS A BREAK AND FAMILY TIME! (June 20, 2009)
James,
My respect level for you just hit the rev limiter! Dude that was first class all the way! You have no idea how happy you made all those kids out at Milestone. I am so stoked that I had the opportunity to attend. Just wanted to say thanks and let you know how appreciative me and my buddies are for you putting that all on. It is seriously a day that I will never forget.
If you had ever had any doubts about your fan base here in So-Cal, I’m sure any doubt you had has now been dispelled. You are an inspiration to a lot of people and a true champion who knows how to treat his fans. Stay healthy and keep it up on two!
Much Love,
Steve (Steveo) Everett
