man please do one in GEORGIA

  12. Mike83 says:

Were up the road in Gainesville now. Will be their. And someone mentioned their was nationals this year? I had no clue LOL :P :P,,, Bad joke. I never saw the E60 vid till a few days ago. That was a good special. RC even said hes defiantly the faster ever on 2 wheels. So fast that it would even scare him. That was kinda cool.

  13. Racer says:

    Laura,
You obviously don’t go to very many national events then. Waiting in line only to get disappointed is part of the game, it happens sometimes.
This is a good opportunity to teach your son that we don’t always get everything we want. Or maybe he does and that’s part of the problem.
I flat out refuse to wait in autograph lines anymore. I don’t have to wait 45 minutes only to be one of the huge crowd who gets an impersonal autograph.
We have been very fortunate to get some autographs and pictures just by being in the right place at the right time. We have some awesome shots of James. The best one is him with his arm around my 9yo son right in the pits. Another is with my son and big James in the VIP stands.
Sometimes it just takes a little luck.

    • Cory Teeple says:

Lucky for your son Racer. I wish Toronto had open pits so my son might get a moment with Bubba. They have signings after Qualifying but it very difficult because of the fans.

As far as Laura teaching her son a lesson on not always getting what we want, I really do not think this was the case. He had just finished signing , then her son approached James. So he should of signed his replica bike.

We have written about this non stop and personally being in James position for all he does it is never enough in peoples’ eyes unfortunately.(Enough said)

However in my eyes and my son’s eyes he is a classy person and someone to look up to. Not to mention the best to ever ride a dirtbike.

      Best Wishes Bubba

From your true north fans, FULL THROTTLE EH!!!

  14. sorryjames says:

james you’re not even the champ anymore since you decided to sit around and let chad reed go win the championship. i don’t even like chad reed but he’s the champ now, you’re not.

    • Justa Joe says:

Kid, There are 3 major professional national championships given out each year in MX/SX. Your 2009 championships are as follows.

      1 Supercross Champ: James Stewart
2 450 Motocross Champ:: Chad Reed
3 250 Motocross Champ: Ryan Dungey

  15. Allen Gnuschke says:

  17. shane kinnaman # 78 says:

holy crap dude i freakin love james stewart dude i cant wait for this its going to be the best day of my life i will be there but i cant ride sadly because my crf250 s chain flew off and put a hole in my case and my mom cant afford to fix it i live in lake placid, sebring area so i will still come wish i could ride with you james take it easy till then man

  18. Stephen Fitzwater says:

If you can make it out to the ride day, go! James was cool enough to host one in Texas and my 2 boys and I drove out and it was a top notch deal. James was not only doing some PR for himself and Red Bull, but hit the track with the kids. Very cool to watch him take it down several (OK tons) of notches and cruise the track with the little kids. They must have been so stoked. Then he was on the pipe on the 2 stroke 250, tearing it up.

Just wanna say a big thanks to James and his crew, we had a blast!

  19. Jessica says:

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is going to be the highlight of my life. I can’t wait.

Thankyou so much for having a ride day here in Florida.

  20. Ashley says:

    - oh common. I’m a wayyyy better rider than james stewart. i mean really, a tree could beat him in a race! lol, jk!

  21. Big"T" says:

Cory and Laura, you guys need to give this man a break, he was also at the races to see his brother race. Usually when the autograph session ends, it’s a wrap and if you weren’t able to get your signature you haveto catch him another time. These guys also have to have a life of their own at some point. And to his credit he is taking time out of his weekend to have ride days which are longer for his fans to actually meet him and talk with him without being rushed. So stop bagging the man when he is trying to make an effort to see as man people as he can. And Cory if you feel that strongly for the little guy to see Bubba, why don’t you offer to help the little guy visit Fla to see Bubba. He is one man and a thousand fans are trying to get his attention!! Has anyone else in Motocross or supercross done a ride day with a previous champ? Noooooo not one, so give this guy some credit because he is going above and beyond any other rider in the sport to show that he is appreciative of his fans and stop whining because he is giving back in a big way… “a free ride day with the Champ” !!!!! Chad, Mcgrath nor Carmichael showed that much support for their fans. So buck up or shut up and see him at at ride day, that’s what it’s for.

    Semper,
    DEvil Doc!

    • Cory Teeple says:

      Hey Big T

I was wondering if you have any kids. I have 2 and if he did this it would bother me too. Sure he has done so much fo the sport and his fans. So to say I am whining is a false statement, I was simply telling Bubba to be careful because being an idol to so many kids and fans it very easy to fall when the smallest errors are done. Yes is his human and for that adults can comprehend but kids do not.

      Take care Big T

My son and are his biggest fans in Canada I just do not want him to end up like 90% of all these high profile icons.

from your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!!

    • Cory Teeple says:

      Hey Big T

As far as me bagging the man is also a false statement. He does what he can for the fans and yes he does go above and beyond the expectations. All it takes is one mistake unfortunately to fall. Peace Big T.

from your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!!

    • Laura Germyn says:

I just want to say that if he is there to watch his brother then he should just be there for his brother. Don’t offer to do any autograph sessions. Which we stood in line for and were denied. Also, if the autograph session was supposed to be “over” why did he sign some other kids shirt (outside of the autograph session) right in front of us.
Do you know anything about Loretta’s? Do you even understand what it takes for a family just to make it there.? My son was 7. Not a 15 year old or an adult. My son idolized him. And to be turned away by your hero. How would that make you feel? Sure, as an adult we can rationalize it and say “Oh well he’s such a busy person and he should have some sort of life too”. But to a 7 year old kid, you can’t make them understand that. They just wanted that one moment with their hero. I understand he is doing this ride day in Floriday for his fans. And I think that is great. But most of us motocross families are too busy at nationals or racing on the weekend to be able to spend that kind of money to fly to Florida. Maybe for you its no big deal, but for most of us, it’s not going to happen.
My opinion is if your walking, your signing. Maybe not down the street in Hometown U.S.A. but at Loretta Lynn’s if he’s walking he should be signing. This is an EVENT. He was promoted, promoted, promoted. Had his big old bus sittin’ front and center! He wasn’t parked out in the south 40.
With only an hour of signing time for thousands and thousands of people, he should be WALKING AND SIGNING!!!

    • Cory Teeple says:

      Hey Big T

If I made millions of dollars like Bubba I would help the little guy get to Florida.

    • Cory Teeple says:

      So buck up or shutup

Wow! That is so mature Big T. You must be 10 years old. Learn how to write and speak properly before you respond or appear on this site.

  22. John says:

JAMES IS NOT ONLY THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE! But a great person in general itd be tight to chill with him!

  23. Cory Teeple says:

    James

I am glad to see you are interacting with your fans so much this year. It is great. Keep up the class act and remember to not forget to sign any autographs.

From your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!!

  24. Laura Germyn says:

James. I hope you read these blogs. My son (who was 7 at the time) met you at the 2008 Lorreta Lynn’s. You were just walking out of the autograph session (which we stood in line for) and some kid asked you to sign his shirt (which you did). My son had a collector motorcycle of yourself and held up a pen and asked if you could sign it. You said, “Not this time buddy”. Broke his heart!!! He ended up taking that motorcycle back to the motorhome and opened it up (which we woud have never done if you signed it) and took the guy out and ripped his head off and said he was never going to cheer for you again. Please, when a child who worked their butts off to get to Loretta’s and is dying to see you please take the time!!! It makes a huge difference in the life of a child.

    • Cory Teeple says:

      Hey Bubba

Laura is right, you need to make the time. Kids need heros. You need to show some love for this kid and all the kids, they are the future. Put yourself in our shoes. For kids you are beyond human, they are in awe of you. We all know all of you pros are busy, however it is what pays your bills. Our hard earned money pays to see you. So make things right, show this kid you still can be his hero and the class act that we all know you are.

From your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!!

      • Laura Germyn says:

        Thank you Cory for understanding….
I am not trying to be mean but simply stating the facts of that time and how it affected my son. I just hope in the future when some kid looks up in awe at him that instead of saying “Not this time buddy” he will think of what that statement could do to that kid.
        Thanks for your support!

    • paul says:

thats a lie he would never do that

      • Laura Germyn says:

No, its not a lie and yes he did do that.

        • paul says:

get a life stop making sad fake stories so people will feel sorry or you

          • Cory Teeple says:

            Hey Paul grow up!
If you had any kind of intelligence you would realize that a mother would not lie about her child this way and not waste her time writing a fake story. If Bubba had of signed it she would be writing about a positive experience.

The problem with you Paul is you are uneducated and childish. It shows on what you write on this site.

from your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!

    • BOB says:

Will you go away. You are so ignorant. If james signed autographs everytime someone asked him he would still be signing.

      • Laura Germyn says:

Then he shouldn’t be at events such as Loretta’s. I’m not talking like we saw him at Wal-Mart and went up to him.

      • Cory Teeple says:

        Hey Bob

Signing autographs is part of being a star. It comes with the territory. The man makes a living riding a dirtbike. So to say Laura is being ignorant is plain stupid. The incident was a child and his hero and the hero did not come through for him.

Everyone says get off the topic. So quit writing about it.

    • Racer says:

      See above reply

  25. Scott Bailey says:
