James Victorious at Night One of Bercy SX
Relaxed and smiling when he arrived in the Palais Omnisports in Paris, France, the reigning World SX Champion took his time to find the good rhythm on the tight course, but once he did, it was game on for Stewart. James won the first night of the fabled Bercy Supercross with ease, besting fellow American Justin Brayton, who finished second, and Greg Aranda, who was third.
“The atmosphere is always great here, and I’m happy to be back. The fans were nice to me, and it took me some time to feel comfortable, but I did it and won all the races” said James after the main event. Stewart was leading when the race director put the red flag out following a bad crash by Steve Boniface, but a few minutes later James got another holeshot to win the last race. Always fast in Bercy, Brayton finished three times runner-up and scored a second position overall, followed by the ‘Frenchies.’
Check back to JS7.com tomorrow to see if James can repeat!

Oh and if you can, please give a shoutout to my Marine Corps brothers on the 10th of Nov, it will be the Corps’ 234th Birthday, Semper Fi!
A true champ will do things that other riders won’t do. James at Bercy was doing the triple that no1 else would do. He was going into the woops at speed and coming out the other end at the same speed. Totally in the ‘ ZONE ‘. JS1 yes! THE TOP SPOT IS THE ONLY SPOT.
Way to go James! I love the way you adapt everywhere you race. A true champion!
