A MESSAGE FROM JAMES
Hey everyone, it’s James. I’m back home in Florida now resting up after a long week of traveling, and I’m already feeling much better after the race in Paris and what happened.
Motohead, I’m not sure where you came up with the idea that I’m more focused on my TV show than on my racing? That is 100% wrong, and who or where you heard that from is wrong, as well. My whole life is dedicated racing, and it has been for 20 years.
So, me missing one MX season doesn’t mean that I’ve let the sport down in any way whatsoever. I honestly believe that I have done a lot for motorcycle racing, but I don’t expect anything back because I do it for the love of it.
I just wanted to check in to clear that up before it got way outta hand, and also just to say hello to everyone here and let you all know that I’m fine now. We are running some tests to see what exactly went wrong in Paris, and when I know you guys will know soon after. Hope all is well, and thanks for the support!

hi james, you sure earned everything you got so why not live it up for a season, or whenever you want! I dont see anyone on the websites trying to give you riding tips so that’s their way of making a ‘contribution’. I just saw the new msn list of top cars and there is a Saleen “S7″ out of there- sounds perfect for a JS7 test drive! I guess that my contribution not ragging on your garage and superhero vehicles for a guy who flys. Any updates on the Leatt testing and I think Audi Iron Man should wear one in the next film too, what do you think?? Well heal up, you gotta lot of ass whippin and podium smiling left to do, and whatever you want after the races that makes you happy too!

James you know and I know that what you do for us as your fans is most appreciated. I think that you do such a cool thing for your fans and you are one of a kind. You make memories for other people besides just your self which sets you apart from so many other factory riders. There busy practicing how not to get noticed in the pits while you are willing to go way beyond and reach out. I was at the dade city ride day and I still cherish your goggles that i got signed from you haha. No but you shouldn’t be worried about what anyone else criticizes you about because you know that your doing it all right. A thousand people wouldnt of all showed up to Randy’s track just to practice. Take it easy and know the true fans wil always show support!

Ez JS1 !! I know this is probably a long shot but i’m jamaican born and living in the UK and thinking of trying to take over or run my local track as a lot of tracks are shutting in the area but this one with a bit of work could be a decent track. I absolutely love motorcross and would love nothing more than to be able to bring the joy of motorcross to weekend riders, adults and kids to share that feeling. I’ve seen the dissappointment on fellow mxers faces when this was been run by previous people and they hardly put any effort into preparation. I think it was just about getting the money, which is really sad. As a rider myself i’d like to change that and bring the joy of mx back to this track. I already have a bit of help as the father in law has plant machines and i drive them myself so that area is cover but any help or info in track design etc would be grately appreciated. ranks@jamaicans.com
What are the reasons for the track closures in Jamaica? Before investing any time or money in getting “your” track up and running make sure there aren’t any external factors (like sound complaints) lurking to derail the efforts.
Best of luck….I can tell you are a true fan of the sport….we need more people like you.

The excitement you bring to the sport of MX/SX is way more exciting than it ever was back in the day. You keep us on the edge of our seats every season. So much respect to you and your talent, you continue to do what you do best and no one in this world can mention MX/SX without saying something about JS, MC and RC, because you all brought the heat race after race. We are all so pumped for you and this upcoming season, so best of luck to you boss!

I am 47 years old. I have been racing for somtimes now( many many moons LOL). I have raced and traveled many places. Also, I have raced with top riders in U.S. I can tell you one thing, YOU ARE THE FASTES AND BEST RIDER I HAVE EVER SEEN in my life(knock on wood). Don’t let some negetive comments bather you. They are not you and they have no clue what goes on and how much work it takes to be in your spot. You have missed one MX season and by gush that is the end of the world. What about Chad, as i recall he did not race any MX for severl years till this year. People need to relax. Some people seem to have a very BAD memory. As i recall you won every MX race in 2008 . Maybe that was Chad hahahahah:-). RLAX people, don’t forget what JS1 is done to get here and all the injuries he had through out all the years.
We love you JS1,7 . we will be behind you no matter what, if you race or take some time off for yourself or your family.

Just like i said last year James, the people who give you grief about missing ONE outdoor season are the people who will badmouth you no matter what you do…you just cant win with them. DO NOT let it bug you one bit man, you did an amazing thing for your fans this summer and people know it!!! You are a true professional and all you need to do is keep focused on what it is you do best and get your self prepared to defend your hard-earned SX title from last year!!! Smile and have fun and you will be at your best!!!

Hey James, as a pioneer in the sport you will be unable to satisfie all fans nor those that are not. Make the appropriate choices and desicion for you, it is more than noticeable that you are supported greatly by your Father whom is well aware of your capabilities long before you were. You have already WON if you never step foot on a track again, I too share in the love of motorcross and share a small amout of expectations in my home town of Shreveport, La.
