Second Victorious Night in Bercy for Stewart

After taking the first night by storm, James Stewart came back once again and proved he’s the man to beat at Bercy’s second night of racing in Paris, France.

Surprisingly, James didn’t win the first battle of the night, as both Justin Brayton and Greg Aranda did a faster lap than the reigning champion during the ‘Superpole’ confrontation. Stewart reacted immediately, showing his competition the short way around the track as he dominated the following three rounds of the ‘American race’. But it wasn’t a cakewalk for James, who had some pressure, and even had a mishap when he went out of the track in a technical section.

James didn’t get the holeshot in the main event, either, but led his rivals after just two corners, and went on to a relatively easy win in the last race of the night to take the overall victory for the second night in a row. Bayton and Aranda went on to finish second and third, respectively.

  1. Hi… this post remnds me - I should cook something quick for dinner. I just feel so lazy right now. adn, I’m starting to question my cooking as of now. I don’t think it’ll turn out that great. O well, I really ought to get up and get to work instead of reading blog posts.

Hey James! Your are the “Man”. You have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone. You
have already accomplished what only a handful of individual can claim. You are by far
the most talented rider yet to date. RC wil vouche for me. Ignore the retards (Steve).
You have done plenty for the sport. Of course, I want to see you smoke the outdoor once
again. You don’t have to be perfect. Though, once you’ve been perfect, why would anyone
want to ruin that. I rather see you race WorldGP. Claim yet another World Title. Just
glad your healthy. “Ride Smart” my friend. The ‘Real Deal’

I just find it funny how people come to James website just to bash him. For all you haters out there i have two words for ya RACE HIM. This dude is BY FAR the most talented Mx/Sx racer even Carmichael said it himself. So what if he chooses not to race outdoors (even though it would be SICK to see you smoke everyone) his choice and i think its cool that he gives back to his fans. Should hold a ride day up in NY though so i can come :). No other rider has ever done that, that i know of. So for all you haters that come on this website just to talk shit save your breath no one wants to hear it. James your the man no matter what all these hatters say.

  9. Benjamin CAUWEL says:

    Ben

sure you’re the fastest at sx. mx, maybe? until you start racing real races we’ll never know. you’re definately the fastest at the cookie-cutter sx tracks. why avoid the diversity of outdoor. you’ve been super fast in the past on them. but, it seems currently like you’re ducking the nationals. most longtime fans i know, 20+ year fans, enjoy nationals vastly more than sx and consider the winner there the truely fastest that year. it’s time for you to step up and prove the neighsayers wrong. win both titles in the same season and put it to rest once and for all. or, you can focus on making more money and do your little reality show, fag.

    • stevesucks says:

you have no idea wat your talking about steve james is the man and so wat he didnt do outdoor he did everything for the fans and p.s. your the fag

    • Justa Joe says:

20+ years… huh? Like it or not the SX season is bigger, more lucrative, & better attended than the MX season. It’s an inconvenient truth that you’ll have to come to terms with. Why do you think that racers like McGrath, Windham, and Reed have previously bailed on the Nationals? I realize that many Ol’ school purest prefer the Nationals, but The SX title has been the premier title in the SX/MX universe for at least the last decade. I’m not saying that it is a good thing just a reality. If you think that the majority of people consider this years 450 MX champion to be the fastest rider this year you would be in a distinct minority.

It’s fairly ridiculous to suggest that the most dominant amateur MX racer, the winningest 125cc/Lites MX rider, and a guy that last held a perfect outdoor 450 MX season would be intimidated competing outdoors. I guess people will say almost anything no matter how contrary to the facts to gain a little attention.

      • Matt says:

I like you moves. I like your style. Steve shut up. In my own opinion mx is better.. but more talent is in sx. I just want bubba to win both ;).. And not just to shut steve up. Because i know he would take the championship as long as this wrist thing goes accordingly

    • rayhaan says:

you are a complete loser steve. its people like you that sit behind your little computer, probably never rode a MX/SX bike let alone raced one that have the biggest mouth on the internet. Seriously, no one wants to hear your shit. So do the world a favour and get a life.

    • bobby says:

What are you talking about he won he won every race in the 2008 outdoors oooo thats right you want him to win s/x & m/x all in one season for what? If he did that you would still hate…haters do what they do best hate..

  11. Brandan Barnes says:

I just gotta say that despite James not racing in the nationals, we all have to realize that he has nothing to prove after his dominating series last year. He has already proved himself and there is nobody that can step up to James. If he is going to focus on supercross and win the championship there, then we as fans should back him up and look forward to the nationals because atleast there will be some good racing instead of James lapping everybody!!!!HAHA so more power to you Mr. Stewart. Although I gotta say I as a big fan would like to see you race at nationals and see you beat the records!!! Go BUBBA!!!!

  12. Ezra says:

    Sick!!!!!
You should race the outdoors-not the whole season- but at least the triple crown part this year

    Anyway YOU-#1 no matter what!!!!!!

  13. MotoHead says:

Way to go in Bercy James. Great Job however word on the street is that you will not be participating in the 2010 outdoors or MXON in order to concentrate on Supercross and your reality show. I must admit that, as a fan who has followed your career since the early days, this is bitterly disappointing.

Feels like you are enjoying the spotlight more than the racing.

It’s sad that some of the worlds top professional Motocross riders don’t seem to be truly passionate about the sport like they were in the days of Hannah, Glover, Johnson etc… Some of the riders are definitely letting fame and money rule their career’s.

    Where do you sit???

    • Justa Joe says:

Bob Hannah & Broc Glover only competed in the MXdN one time each. Stewart has already competed twice. The 450 nationals are not going to draw the top talent anymore. You might as well get used to it. The promoters are going to have to do something in order to rectify that situation. I rather doubt that if Stewart was selected to the MXdN team in Colorado that he would decline the invitation.

    • Fate says:

WOW.. “MOTOHEAD”, YOU ARE SOUNDING LIKE A LITTLE HIGH SCHOOL GIRL WITH ALL THIS HEAR SAY. WHO CARES ABOUT WHAT THE WORD ON THE STREET IS. IMO. IF JAMES NEVER WANTS TO RACE OUTDOORS FOR WHATEVER REASON, HE DOESN’T HAVE TO. THEN AGAIN IF YOU WERE A REAL FAN YOU WOULD BE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SHOW. IN MY EYES IT’S A WAY FOR HIS FANS TO BE ABLE TO COME INTO HIS WORLD. TO GET A VIEW OF JAMES STEWART AWAY FROM THE TRACK. I MEAN WHO WOULDN’T WANT TO BE ABLE TO EXPERENCE THAT.
THEN AGAIN IT COMES TO SHOW THAT YOU REALLY DON’T FOLLOW JAMES LIKE YOU SAY YOU DO. IF SO THEN YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THE VIDEOS RIGHT AFTER THE SX SEASON WHERE JAMES SAID THAT IT WASN’T UP TO HIM ON WHETHER HE WAS GOING TO RACE THE OUTDOORS OR NOT. ALSO THAT HE DID WANT TO GO OUT AND RACE, AND IF IT WAS UP TO HIM HE WOULD HAVE.
ALSO SO WHAT IF HE IS ENJOYING THE SPOT LIGHT, IN MY EYES HE’S EARNED EVERY BIT OF IT. THINK ABOUT THIS IF HE WASN’T PASSIONATE ABOUT THE SPORT WHY WOULD HE KEEP COMING BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR. I MEAN HE’S WON EVERY TITLE THERE IS TO WIN WITHIN THE SPORT. I’M STILL SITTING HERE IN DISBELIEF THAT YOU EVEN OPENED YOUR MOUTH WITH ALL THIS NONSENCE & BS. IT’S NO SUPRISE TO ME THAT YOU DON’T SIT AND THINK ABOUT THINGS BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH.

BETTER YET I CAN SUM YOU UP IN ONE WORD “HATER”, GET A LIFE MAN.

  14. Abobakr Dyani says:

James is the best! GO GO JAMES, you are dominating the whole motocross/supercross circuit now.. The fastest man on the planet, super X, be prepared for a man to crush your competition!!!!

    peace!

  15. ranks75 says:

JS1 = No.1 !!! The fastest man on the planet. Go down under and show them Aussies too who’s the best in the world.
