James Is On The Mend
James returned home to Florida to begin his post-surgery therapy immediately following his wrist procedure last week. Though he’s already feeling much better just five days into his recovery, he unfortunately will not be racing in San Diego this coming weekend.
This from James:
On Friday of last week we decided to get an MRI done on my wrist. The idea of possibly having surgery and missing some races was a tough pill to swallow, but I was in enough pain that I knew something needed to be fixed. The MRI showed a broken scaphoid bone in my right hand, which is not something that I could ride through any longer. I went into immediate surgery that same day to have it repaired, which my doctor and team felt was the only real option.
It’s been five days now since my surgery, and my wrist is already feeling a lot better! Right now I’m following my doctor’s orders so I can get back on the track racing as soon as possible. My plan is to be back out there just as soon as I can ride without pain. It was no fun racing Phoenix and Anaheim 2 this way! There’s not an exact date yet for when I can get back on the bike, but if progress continues as is, I hope to be back very soon.
Thanks to all of my true fans out there for the support!

Excellent post, you could almost quote this…
When painting a full-screen quad, it might be useful to mask off some buffers so that only specified buffers are touched. For example, you might mask off the color buffer and set the depth function to GL_ALWAYS, so only the depth buffer is painted. Also, you can set masks to allow the stencil buffer to be set or any combination of buffers. ATV Parts.

When asked about what he’d think of coming to the ufc, he talking about:
Take your time. Health is more important than anything.
Hey James,
I’m a soldier in Iraq i’m a huge fan of yours man, i hope u heal soon and be able to make it to the ATL for the races i purchased my brother & uncle pit passes and club level seats to see you, but its fine if your not healed tho, your health should always be number 1 bubba. And you should tell malcolm to start back riding and get in a 250 lites race im sure he’ll prolly crush those guys. I wish i could race like you and Malcolm or just learn the bubba shrub i try to do it all the time and eat it on the way down all the time. lol. Maybe i could come out and learn it on your track, im not far from i live in Atlanta and have family in Panama City, FL. it could be fun times, or if your too busy maybe malcolm can show me. But Bubba the main thing is your health dont come back until you feel that your 100% we all no who is the BEST rite? BUBBA!!!! lol
Mr.Stewart,
First of all, I would like to thank you for everything you have done for the sport of Motocross, Although I’m only 15, I understand the rough things you have had to go through and I personally appreciate everything you have done. Secondly, Get well soon! I too had to get surgery, Mine was for torn ligaments, a vertically severed ligament and the horizontal split of my biceps tendon, I went in for surgery on the 28th and I’m also in the boat of recovery. I cant do anything for another week but when I can, I was curious if you had any tricks or tips on getting back into shape for racing? If its possible to Reach me, please do so . Devon711yz125@yahoo.com
Thank You,
Devon Kessman
Bubba, please get well soon. You, Ricky and Reed bring a lot to the racing circuit and,it is just not the same without you. It is a joy watching you ride, technically aggressive and your jaw-dropping moves. In racing circle, it has been said by racing enthusiasts that you are a class act, both on and off the racing venues, good luck with your rehabilitation and above all GOD BLESS………Amen. Abi Oshun/ Los Angeles.
Bubba, I just want to tell you that I really love the way you ride. I am a 46 year old that use to race a while back and was prettty good in my day. I have never seen anybody ride with the intensity and dynamic ability you display. You make everyone look like their in a different league. I also like how you handle yourself off the track. You are admired by many! Get healed soon. I will be in Atlanta in a few weeks and I hope you’re racing by this time.
GET BETTER BUBBA WE MISS YOU!!!
Friends, can you maybe asssit me? A mate of mine is thinking about buying themselves a new Honda CBR 1000 as their first bike! Never rode much of anything else before! I did say this is probably not a very good idea for the first one, but they are adamant! What do you think, is this ok and would you maybe then just recommend good lessons?
So not the same without you! Take the time to heal properly, your fans aren’t going anywhere!!!! All our best to you!
I really hope you get better soon James. I’m sorry you can’t race but I’m glad you caught the problem before it got worse, you know? I hope you can come to Atlanta so I might be able to see you!
do your thing S - your still the best
get well soon racing just isnt the same. hope u nothing but the best. get well soon and god bless.
hey james i hope u get better soon so u can hopefully still win the sx champion ship, good luck and hope u get better soon.
That is sick… man I really need a new ATV. lol
I hope you’re racing this week! It’s just not the same without you…You need to lay the smackdown on Dungy! We all know he doesen’t have anything for you!
How are you doing Champ!
I hope you are healing up. We ars wishing you well and hope to see you rippin it up real soon
All the best and God Bless
From your true north fans FULL THROTTLE EH!!!
Let us know how you are.
hey man i am doing a school paper and was wondering if you could come talk in my class?
Yea just watched the Racer x promo on RC amateur supercross program.WOW i thank its great but would say he is jocking off of JS from ride day,its cool just to show u how JS is changing things by not riding fast…Hey bubba you put pressure on people more than one way…..
james, you are much to fast to be racing only supercross. ive watched you race since you were on that little kx125 im a big fan because i loved watching that two stroke beat those 250fs
then in 2008 you ran an undefeated season outside, how many other riders can do that. two… IN HISTORY. at the end of the day wouldnt you rather be remebered as the best ever or the guy who wasted his potential of racing outdoors because a guy like larry brooks wont let you, you have more talent then any other rider ever dont waste it on just supercross… or youll be loosing me as a fan
Couldn’t agree more. As a long term moto fan, not to ride the outdoor MX is setting a low standard. You are way better than that. Short term pay is no subistute for long term greatness!!
Take your time Bubba! So when you come back … You will show everybody why you have the #1 plate … Anyway the # does’t matter … Let’s go JS7 …
Post some old videos of your 2 stoke days…..youtube only has a few good ones but the quality isnt that good
Bubba, with now going to miss some races in the championship wish you would consider the outdoors. Last year the nationals were lame to watch without you racing. I hate the whole supercross only idea. I loved watching RC race both championships every year. Gives you something to look forward to watch in the summer. Just hurry up and heal already……I hate watching the backmarkers running in the front now. been a huge fan since your 125 days….the speed you had in that class will never again be matched…so keep us posted as much as you can as to when you will be back out there
hey man whats going on get well man soon chaoz007
Yo what up homie all the way from anaheim, ca son…I used to work at Hahm Motorsports there and handled the rider autograph sessions. Now live in the ATL!! You gotta make it by the atlanta round bro…We are all pulling for ya!!!! L8R
