James you need to work on your starts RV hasn’t past you straight up yet but you need to pass him out of the gate. You have all the talent in the world you just need to ride like you used to when you were hungry to win its not showing now but I know you still have. Oh yeah and please stay away from the tuff blocks it’s your kryptonite!
Keep your focus James. Stick to your game plan for each race as much as possible. Your raw talent and connection with the bike will win you races. Forget the pressures you think exist, have fun and ride your bike. Be proud of yourself and race for yourself!
James is definitely one of the all time greats of the sport.Yeah the comp is tougher than it was 6 years ago.I think he would have got back to back championships in 09 and 10 if he hadnt injured himself.RV is fast.Very fast. His cornering sems to be his strong point and James isnt cornering as well. That could definitely be the bike set up or maybe its all the time he spent not racing outdoors and the off season.I would love to see james come back from a 32 point deficit and win the championship.that would truely be incredible and with james’s talent not impossible but with Rv riding the way he is I’m not sure if its likely. This might not be james’s year.James needs to get dialed in with the team, stay consistent and off the ground, race the outdoors this year, and I think next year he could possibly win sx and outdoor championships. His riding style is way smoother and relaxed than RV but his cornering is as fast and like I said that could be the bike.Ya know even reed said he would hate to race james if he was on a suzuki.Either way what do any of us know whats really going thru James’s head.He may know that this might not be his time.He might be looking at the long term.He might be looking to get a championship for JGR during his contract with them because thats whats expected of him but James could also be looking for some longevity in the sport he loves and as long as he is consistent maybe he could land a ride like K DUB.Whatever the case maybe I love seeing james ride. The world of profesional motocross would be at a big loss with out him. Hes a great competiter and like him or hate him as long as he is out here racing mx, is that much more fun to watch and he keeps things exciting.Keep it off the ground james.I personaly watch every week to see you race.Cant wait to see you outdoors.
Good Luck this weekend in Big D ! Ride smart and focused ! You can do it !!!!!!
James has the one of the best mechanics in the field. Jeremy knows what he is doing. Remeber when he was with kawasaki? They know how to set the bike for him, Its just the talent in the riding field is more than RC and stewart. Those days are gone. Now there are multiple riders of beating stewart on any given day. Its not like the old days where he was lapping nearly the whole field, besides Carmichael. Now the sport has become soo much more competitive. I am a diehard bubba fan, always have been since 259 days. I mean he can win, hes just riding on that edge that only a few riders in the world can do. That first or crash mentality is his riding style. I am so glad he didnt get injured and out for the season again. Gotta love how the sport has become so main stream now. My only complaint is that every race isnt live, but we are getting there thanks to speed. Good luck in dallas and keep it on two wheels James
Have you ever thought of placing Tuff Blocks on the sides of your practice tracks..
Seems like they have been your nemesis this season so far.
Hopefully your luck will improve now that you will be on midwest and eastern soil.
The tuff blocks appear to be giving many riders problems this year. Musquin, RV included. The tracks also seem to be more of a challenge. The Bike may play a bigger role than if the tracks were smoother or timed better.
It is so cool to pretend like you are a cop and pull people over! BWUHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shit happens
James, either lose the Pirelli tires or better yet break the contract with JGR, sell the jet and fancy cars and take my past advice and buy some Suzuki’s and reclaim your rightful place in motocross. I’ve said it before that Yamaha has issues and if you continue like you are, you may get paid…for the moment, but your legacy and all you worked for will be forever tarnished. This is not the way you want go out. That Yamaha is not right! You need a team that can properly deliver the power to the ground for your riding style and this bike and setup are not working…period. You slowed down in the first heat race because you realized the bike was not hooking up, and had you pushed it (like you’re used to) you would have lost the rear end or worse. Truthfully bro, you are slowly fading fast. Get on bike that can get it done for you!
Once again, the bike excuse rears its head. I love it! Bwuahahahaha
The rear end is not an excuse; in fact the whole bike setup is not an excuse..Its fact! Most of us have never and will never ride a dirt bike at the same level James does and therefore we will never know how much small differences in suspension and tires make. James has always had a bike setup or tailored to his riding style and I’m simply saying that this bike is not set up just right to for his riding style. JGR has not figured it out yet and that is why I think James would do better dropping them and buying his own Suzuki’s, getting support from them and start winning races. If you know anything about a motorcycle and watch James ride that bike then it is clear he is holding back…why? Because the bike is not setup correctly and it could be something as simple as tires. Those are the facts.
Don’t you quit on us now James! We are here for you. That was a great ride and you were doing everything right. Sometimes life is like that – I know from experience. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try things don’t work out. You just keep chipping away and it and you’ll be out of this bad spell before you know it. Here’s to better days ahead! Cheers.
James will win the Championship.
now he saw Reed catch Villopoto. James can smoke Reed- and Reed knows that. Plus when James won- Villopoto could not pass Reed
the mental game is in James’ favor.
watch it unfold. Racing is Racing- but the TRUTH prevails.
Yeah, the mental games are in dumbass’s favor…that is why he is spending so much time on the ground and 32 back… Oh, wait – its the bike’s fault! Yeah, that’s it!
@mental game?
Your dumb, quit the attitude dumbass
Ok lets understand something, JS7 has only fell victim to timing and bad situations. Yes the competetion is stronger but its still JS7 races to win. New team new environment there are alot of things to consider in this puzzle. It’s like not having a pre season in football. As a team alot of things have to come together and it will. We all just expect instant success from JS7. RV@ is riding far above his head and is due to crash due to his new found speed, but remember the main thing, he started something that I hope he can accept because CR just gave notice to RV on the podium about riding aggressive, and we all know CR is serious about take outs when you cross him so now RV@ is about to experience the CR take out techique. All JS& has to do is stay away from that battle and in front of RD. Maintain finishes in front of RV and CR as mush as possible and the points will shrink. But it’s going to be close and you have tyo stay focused. You’ve done it before.
Before you start talking about CR and takeouts, you may want to take a look at your boy and all of his takeouts – he is the king of it. If you weren’t such a nutsucker and opened your eyes, you would see that he does just that…but such is life, you chalk it up to his riding aggresively while others who do are accused of “take outs.” Grow up, a thug is a thug. But hey, if you can justify your boy doing it, then by all means go ahead. Oh, and go pretend you are a cop (never have seen the other riders do something so stupid – but look at who we are dealing with) and pull someone over…
Great race. You were taking it smooth and catching up to the leaders. Great ride. Even if you don’t win the championship.(Which you will ). We your fans crave seeing you out there every saterday. Please give space to those stupid tough blocks. U take it so close. That is why we love you. Ride hard james. Like you can. Like you can. From the great white north toronto
What is “saterday?”
Ssorry saturday or subway club day
Stewart is my favorite. I can’t wait to watch him race in Salt Lake City this year. I’ll be chearing loud. I seriously don’t think the problem is his bike. The truth is he has much stiffer competition than ever before and he’s pushing too hard. I’ve been victim to that before in a professional sport. He needs to just ride like James Stewart and he’ll start winning again. He knows that. He doesn’t need to see idiots on here posting hate to figure that out. I’m a huge fan, keep your head up, don’t try to create the impossible, be happy with second and third sometimes, but just keep your cool and ride like you know how. When you do that, you will start to dominate RV1 just like you always have.
Your bike looks killer by the way…much better than the San Manuel bike. Best looking bike out there. This is going to be your week. It’s going to set the tone for what’s to come. That being ‘A year of James Stewart come from behind, back to back to back to back to back…..wins.’ You watch, he’s going to prevail and make everyone believers once again. I know he’s still the best out there. Go Stew!!!!!!!!
I love your control
Control – yeah, hitting the ground
Haters should be banned. Too bad there isn’t a more active moderator. I get tired of reading these comments. Take that junk elsewhere.
Get used to it, biyatch!
we all know that you can win
sometimes you have to do better. then do it if you want to win
why you crash as often
Stay strong and continue to fight.
So sad too see you going down. But youre a true champion you go at it again.
good luck bubba!
