To say that James had a tough 2010 racing season would be a severe understatement, and we’re betting that most of you have probably been wondering what in the world he’s been up to since leaving the track. In this video, James finally comes clean…
After months of waiting, Bubba is back! Season two of “Bubba’s World” is set to premiere tonight (Thursday, December 2nd) at 10:00PM ET/PT on FUEL TV. With a potential career-ending injury knocking James out of contention during the 2010 Supercross series, season two provides an inside look as James prepares to battle his way back in hopes of regaining the coveted number one plate. Riveting and entertaining, the new season provides one of the most revealing behind-the-scenes looks into professional motorsports.
“This season of ‘Bubba’s World’ takes the drama and frustration of being an injured pro athlete to another level,” says Shon Tomlin, FUEL TV SVP of Programming and Marketing, and series’ Executive Producer. “You rarely get this kind of unfiltered access to a world-class athlete who is fighting to regain his crown. The new season embeds you in James’ life at a time when everything he’s ever known is on the line and there’s uncertainty at every turn.”
“This past year has had a lot of ups and downs for me personally, and it’s been hard having the cameras follow me through the whole process,” James commented. “I want to show people what it’s been like dealing with the injury and trying to come back from it. People will see what my life is like, and will get to know my family and friends a lot better this season.”
“Last season was time for healing and personal exploration for James,” says Executive Producer Terence Michael. “This season, however, it’s time for James to show that he has the confidence, determination and skill to once again become the greatest motocross rider on the circuit. But where there’s risk, there’s the unknown. With the clock ticking on a comeback that may or may not happen, the drama and suspense is cranked up with genuine pressure and emotion emanating from the Stewart camp. And it will take until the last episode to find out if James will reclaim his number-one title, or be standing in the unemployment line.”
James is in SoCal testing with the L&M Racing crew for the upcoming 2011 Supercross series, and TransWorld Motocross joined him at the Yamaha test track yesterday along with his new trainer, motocross legend Johnny O’Mara.
